Hi Val!
It's wonderful to hear about your language journey! 🌟 You're absolutely right; Spanish, Portuguese, and French share many similarities, which can make learning them a bit easier if you already know one. It's great that you're using Duolingo to help with your Portuguese learning—every bit of practice helps!
If you have any specific questions about Portuguese or need any help, feel free to ask. Estamos aqui para ajudar! (We are here to help!)
Looking forward to seeing you often here.
Obrigado! (Thank you!)

Possibly Urdu?
Spanish and French. I already did conversational Spanish before I moved to Brasil so I have been teaching myself Portuguese with Duolingo because there are similarities between Spanish and Portuguese. French is also similar to Spanish in my opinion. Those three languages are the most common in the Caribbean after English and are part of the region's history
Olá, Mina!
Wow! You are really into languages aren't you? That's amazing! Soon you'll be able to speak Portuguese perfectly. 😉
Sincerely,
Marcia

Spanish as it's the 2nd most spoken language in the Southern Caribbean where I'm from and I am already familiar with it
