Hi Jaimie,

Thanks for posting!

Just a few notes. We use:

"em espanhol" (in Spanish);

"Equador" (Ecuador);

and don't forget to use the accent in "pássaros" (birds);

Feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Cristiane

Eu visitei uma ilha chamada en espanhol 'Isla de la Plata' Também é conhecida como 'Os galapagos dos pobres.' (Poor man's Galapagos). É uma ilha fora da costa do Ecuador e parece aos Galapagos. O guia turistico foi incrível e nos falou de muitas coisas sobre a ilha. Por exemplo, nos contou porque se chama 'Isla de la Plata,' e sobre os passaros que se encontram lá.

I don't know why but the lesson notes won't download. Is there a certain amount of PDFs a person can download?

Oi Laderon,

Great question!

Many Spanish-speakers get confused with this part.

"Tudo" means all, as in "Eu quero tudo isso" (I want it all) As you can see, it doesn't need a complement.

"Todo" is always referring to a noun. It can mean "every", "whole", "all".

For example:

Todos os dias eu como chocolate. (I eat chocolate everyday)

Eu tenho todo o dia para estudar português. (I have the whole day to study Portuguese)

"Todo" may change according to the noun: todo, toda, todos, todas.

I hope it helps. Please let me know if you still have any questions!

Olá luckyapon,

You're right! Keep practicing and remembering to use prepositions when needed that you'll soon get used to it.

Boa sorte! And let us know if you even have any other question or comment!

Cheers,
