On the written parts of quizzes i'm getting answeres correct and they are being marked incorrect. for example "one" or "a" in Portuguese can be either uma or um depending on gender. The gender is never specified on any of the quizzes i have completed up to now.
Also I don't have the keyboard with accent marks set up on my computer. When, for example, I type "Voce" for "You" I get it marked wrong. Is there a way you can specify if you want masculine or feminine and, also be more forgiving on the accent marks for those of us who are unable to put the accents in place even though we know them as the good estudiantes that we are.
Olá Musaab,
Thank you for commenting!
Just minor corrections:
"uma irmã" (one sister).
"irmão" (brother)

sim, Eu tenho um irmao e uma irmas
Olá Mori
Tudo bem,
We pronounce the "r" in "irmão" and "irmã" as a faint "r".
Please try to listen to the audio in the vocabulary section a few times and then record your voice to check out your pronunciation. It can be very helpful ;)

So interesting, however, I don't know if the letter "R" is pronounced when we say Brother or sister in Portuguese.
Could you help me?
Olá Shiela,
Tudo bem?
Thank you for posting!
Just a minor correction: "Eu tenho uma irma mais velha e um irmão mais novo" ;)
Keep up the good work and if you have any doubts, please let us know.
Até mais!

this is the hardest phrase in the language! I have to say it muito devagar and it helps to add detail.
sim, eu tenho uma irmã mais value e um irmão mais jovem!?
