Some banks have started charging for international purchases. Always check with your account manager before you leave on your trip.

Oi Celia,

Tricky question!

So the word "caixa" - "box" is feminine, but "caixa" - "cashier" is masculine!

ATM is "caixa eletrônico", but it's the masculine "caixa" :flushed:

I hope it clarifies a little! Let me know if you're still confused!

Tem um caixa rápido por aqui or Tem uma caixa rápida por aqui? Acho que caixa é um palavra feminina?

Hum, nesse caso poderíamos traduzir literalmente como:

"Would you wait for me changing clothes?"

Mas como você pode ver, nem sempre a tradução literal faz sentido na outra língua.

Se você ainda tiver com dúvidas, me avise!

Todavia a tradução em inglês se diz : "Would you wait for me to change clothes?"

Oi Ahmed,

Nesse caso não. Nessa frase, significa que a pessoa vai te esperar enquanto ELA troca de roupa.

In here, it means the person will be waiting for you, and meanwhile she will be changing clothes!

O significado é o contrário do que você quer dizer!

Me avise se tiver alguma dúvida!
