Olá gente! Tudo bem? This is Jade Furuta and welcome to another Portuguese weekly words. And today’s theme is Health Concerns.
First word is asma which is the same in English. A way of using this word would be-
Algumas crianças têm asma quando pequenas. Algumas crianças têm asma quando pequenas.
Some kids have asthma when they're little.
coceira, coceira, “itching”
Ai, tô com uma coceira estranha. Eu tô com uma coceira estranha.
I have a strange itch.
dor de cabeça
cabeça, as we learned in our past lesson, it means “head.”
dor de cabeça “headache”
Ontem à noite, eu tive dor de cabeça. Ontem à noite, eu tive dor de cabeça.
Last night I had a headache.
náuseas, náuseas, “nausea”
Eu tenho náuseas quando estou no avião. Eu tenho náuseas quando estou no avião.
I have nausea when I am in the airplane.
tosse, tosse, “cough”
Eu tenho tosse frequentemente. Eu tenho tosse frequentemente.
I have coughs frequently.
