Hello everyone, this is Jade Furuta and I am here for another Portuguese weekly words. Get ready, today’s theme is Going through customs. That sounds good, I love traveling. I guess you do too if you want to learn Portuguese
autorização de reentrada, that’s a really long word. Autorização de reentrada. Do you want to say that, autorização. “Retry permit.” You could hear phrases like:
Você necessita de autorização de reentrada.
You need a reentry permit. Get your paperwork ready before you travel, huh!
nacionalidade. This one is easy right? Nationality.
Eu tenho nacionalidade brasileira.
I have Brazilian nationality.
Qual é a sua nacionalidade?
What’s your nationality?
passaporte. I guess you know this one too, passport.
Onde está o seu passaporte?
Where is your passport?
Hum... está aqui!
O meu passaporte? My passport? It's here! Aqui.
visto means visa
Você tem o visto necessário para o Brasil?
Do you have the needed visa for Brazil?
confiscar “confiscate”
Me desculpe, mas eu tenho que confiscar isso.
I am sorry but I will have to confiscate this.
