Eric: Welcome to 3-Minute Portuguese Season 1, Lesson 20 - Talking about Your Likes. In this lesson, you’ll learn how to ask and affirmatively answer a question about your likes in Portuguese.

Eric: Here's a way to ask 'Do you like chocolate?' in Portuguese.
Ana: [Normal] Você gosta de chocolate?
Eric: First is a word meaning 'you'
Ana: [Normal] você [Slow] você
Eric: Next is the word meaning 'like'
Ana: [Normal] gosta [Slow] gosta
Eric: Next is the word meaning 'of'
Ana: [Normal] de [Slow] de
Eric: Last is the word meaning 'chocolate'

Eric: Note the rising intonation. Listen again to the question meaning 'Do you like chocolate?'
